Library
Our libraries are welcoming spaces where students can read, research, and explore new ideas. Each library offers a wide range of books, digital tools, and online resources to support academic success and personal interests.
Students can discover new authors, explore different genres, and access materials for school projects or personal growth.
For details on the library schedule, requesting books, using library resources, and accessing reading apps and e-books, visit the Library page in Canvas. Sign in with your student account to find guides, step-by-step instructions, and helpful tips to make the most of all the library has to offer.

Message from School Librarian
I am so excited to have your student join me in the very best place to be... the library! Before becoming our school librarian, I taught 4th and 3rd grade at Garfield. My youngest daughter is a third grader at Garfield and my older daughter is an Everett High seagull. I am passionate about children's literature and opening the door to each child finding their own "book joy!"
Students will visit the library each week during a scheduled time with their class. They will be able to check out books, listen to stories, participate in fun activities, and learn about how libraries work. If a student finishes their book before their scheduled library time, they can see me during my open checkout hours, 9:15-9:50 Monday-Thursday with their class library pass.
I look forward to getting to know your family this year. Please join us during our last Thursday of the month, family checkouts. Reach out if you have any questions or would like to volunteer!
